What you’ll do We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manage r to take ownership of our day-to-day finance operations and build a strong financial backbone as we scale. You will own treasury, financial planning, and accounting oversight, working closely with founders, leadership, and external partners. Your mission is to bring structure, strategy, clarity, and reliability to our finances. You will own and drive all things Finance Operations at Again. As a VC-backed company transitioning into a more complex, asset-heavy and multi-entity organization, this role is a critical pillar in building a finance function that can scale with us. You will build and run the financial backbone of the company, partner closely with the leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting, and act as the source of truth for financial performance and runway at Again. Responsibilities Finance Operations & Accounting: own AP/AR, monthly close, coordination with external accountants, review of financial statements, audits, tax and compliance, and ownership of chart of accounts and finance systems Financial Planning, Cash & Performance Management: act as source of truth on burn, runway, and financial capacity, build and maintain budgets, forecasts, financial models, monitor spend vs. plan and cash flow across entities Treasury & Banking: manage relationships with banks and payment providers and continuously improve cash management and liquidity strategy Multi-Entity, SPVs & Transfer Pricing: support financial setup and ongoing reporting for SPVs and project entities and coordinate intercompany and transfer pricing structures with external advisors Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: prepare internal financial reports and support board, investor, and external reporting Job Requirements About you 3-7 years of experience in finance, finance operations, FP&A, or audit Experience from a startup/scale-up, VC fund finance team, or consulting/audit firm is highly valued Comfortable owning processes end-to-end and improving them, motivated to take ownership and grow with the company Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented Based in Munich - or willing to relocate Fluency in either German or Danish, as well as English What we promise you You get to work with a group of scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs, working on challenging and meaningful projects An engaging, empowering and ambitious work environment We understand that relocating can be a hassle, so if you don't live in Munich, Germany we will help out to give you a smooth transition This will be the journey of a lifetime – we are pioneering a new era of industrial manufacturing using biotech to make clean and resilient supply chains, and you can play a pivotal role in making that happen If you have questions regarding the role, we would love to hear from you.
