Financial Accountant - 6 month FTC

Aria Partners is working with a leading global real estate investment and asset management business to recruit a Financial Accountant for an initial 6 month fixed-term contract, starting ASAP.

Please note this role has strong long term potential to convert to a permanent hire and the profile of person they're interested in is someone looking for a long term role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the month-end close, preparing management accounts and providing variance analysis and commentary
• Supporting European and US group reporting requirements
• Coordinating external audits and liaising with local advisors
• Supporting statutory reporting, tax, VAT and regulatory compliance
• Partnering with international colleagues and responding to finance-related queries
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls and reporting efficiencies

The ideal candidate will have:

• Formal accounting qualifications - ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent
• A background in audit or financial accounting, ideally with 3 to 5 years' collective experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with international stakeholders.
• A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• French language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Candidates making their first move from practice are very welcome, particularly those with experience auditing real estate, investment management or other financial services businesses.

You must be able to start this role within a month or less and have full UK work rights. Candidates on the youth mobility scheme are welcome to apply as the role could convert to a permanent hire and offer visa sponsorship.

Salary c.£65-75k plus benefits. Central London location with majority in office attendance.
