FINISHING FOREMAN – COMMERCIAL & OFFICE BUILDINGS

One of our clients, an established and stable company operating in a comfortable West African country, is seeking a hands-on, field-oriented Finishing Foreman for commercial and office projects in Ghana. This is a practical, site-based role requiring direct worker guidance and technical leadership on the active job site. Relocation to West Africa on a single-status basis is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Instruction & Guidance: Actively train, demonstrate, and mentor local workers on-site in proper installation techniques across all finishing trades.
• Finishing & MEP Coordination: Supervise and guide workers in drywall installation, suspended ceilings, tiling, joinery, and electrical/MEP finishing works.
• Quality & Craftsmanship: Ensure high-quality workmanship by physically inspecting work in real-time and demonstrating correct methods when needed.
• Site Coordination: Coordinate work sequences on the site floor between different trades, subcontractors, and worker teams.
• Safety & Progress: Maintain a safe site environment (HSE), monitor daily progress, and resolve technical site issues immediately.

Requirements:

• Hands-on Mindset: A true field-oriented person who thrives on the active site, works alongside the team, and leads by example.
• Demonstrated Technical Skill: Minimum 5 years of practical, hands-on experience in architectural finishing works, drywalls, ceilings, and system/electrical finishings.
• Training Ability: Proven experience in guiding, teaching, and upskilling local site workers in a multicultural environment.
• Drawing Literacy: Ability to accurately read technical drawings and translate them into field execution.
• Qualifications & Languages: EU citizenship (mandatory), basic English communication skills, and willingness to relocate to Ghana on a single-status basis.
