Senior Commercial/Industrial Concrete Estimator

Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial/Industrial Concrete Estimator to join our team. This position primarily involves preparing estimates for commercial parking structures , large commercial concrete footings and foundations , and other commercial buildings such as apartment complexes , office buildings , and vertical builds . Responsibilities : Review Proposal Specifications and Drawings : Attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required estimate contents. Estimate Preparation : Calculate data such as quantity take-offs , material price lists , labor costs per man-hour , and equipment costs , and apply them to complete the scope of work. Review Historical Data : Research historical data (purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports) and compile reports to develop guidelines for future estimates. Bid Package Development : Participate in developing bid package estimate documents and other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications : Education : Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management , or equivalent years of relevant experience. Experience : 8+ years of commercial/industrial estimating experience with projects such as wastewater treatment facilities , large water tanks , and multi-level parking structures . 8+ years of experience in reading and analyzing engineering drawings , technical plans, purchase orders, and contracts. 8+ years of responding to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business stakeholders. Proficiency in Bid2Win estimating software (bottom-up estimating). Mathematical Skills : Good working knowledge of fractions , percentages , ratios , proportions , and geometric formulas to perform calculations for take-offs and estimate preparation. Estimating Techniques : General understanding of cost control , material pricing , and estimating techniques . Skills and Certifications : Required : Bid2Win bottom-up estimating . Estimating for water tanks and multi-level buildings with post-tension cabling . Security Clearance : Not required. Visa Candidates : Not considered.
