Clinical Judgment Utilize policies, procedures, guidelines, and reliable methods to make clinical practice decisions. Independently develop, implement, evaluate, and modify clinical practice matching formal knowledge with critical thinking and nursing skills. Collect and interpret complex patient data with clinical events to make clinical decisions to meet individual patient and family needs. Recognize and respond to the dynamic situation while sorting out extraneous detail and exercises clinical judgment based on an immediate grasp of the whole picture for the patient population of the assigned clinical area. Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, proactively seek expert consultation, and delegate to other clinicians, as appropriate, while using evidence-based guidelines. Position Requirements ASN required Active Florida or multi-state RN license, required National certification in area of clinical specialty (preferred) Minimum of three years 3 years critical care experience, i.e. ED, ICU, NICU, CICU required Valid American Heart Association NRP NICU RN experience required - must have minimum 2000 hours Following courses must be completed within 30 days of hire Valid American Heart Association BLS Valid American Heart Association PALS American Heart Association ACLS Following courses must be completed within one year of hire Staff personnel assigned to patient transport responsibilities on the rotor aircraft (Crew members) will comply with and maintain mandatory weight standards established for safe program operations TNCC (Transport RN) or higher course Advanced Trauma for Nurse (ATCN)- Cardiac Stable Air Medical Cres Core Curriculum Course (AMCC) ENPC preferred STABLE Pediatric Fundamental of Critical Care Support (PFCCS)
