Food Logistics Graduate Programme
- Location: UK-wide, with placements across different locations
- Duration: Two years
- Sector: Food Retail / Logistics / Supply Chain
- Pathways: Logistics Management, Project Management, Safety, Sustainability and Fleet Engineering
Build your career at the heart of a major UK food supply chain.
A leading food logistics business is looking for ambitious, curious and motivated graduates to join its two-year development programme, supporting a nationwide retailer.
You’ll gain practical experience, take on real responsibility and work alongside experienced teams to understand how products move from suppliers through distribution centres and into stores.
Choose your pathway
• Logistics Management: Gain experience across warehouse and transport operations, developing the people management, operational and commercial skills needed to progress towards a Shift Manager role.
• Project Management: Support projects that improve efficiency, operational performance and customer experience, while building your project delivery skills.
• Safety: Work alongside health and safety specialists to improve workplace safety and understand both the operational and strategic sides of managing risk.
• Sustainability: Contribute to carbon reduction initiatives, environmental reporting and projects that support the business’s sustainability ambitions.
• Fleet Engineering: Develop an understanding of the technology, maintenance and management needed to keep a large commercial vehicle fleet operating effectively.
Graduates joining a specialist pathway will spend their first six months learning about the operations, customers and supply chain before moving into their chosen specialism. Logistics Management graduates will develop through placements across the logistics network.
