Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

Join a fast-growing AI transformation team building and deploying production AI systems for enterprise clients. In this hands-on role, you will work across client environments and partner with business and engineering leaders to turn high-impact opportunities into systems that deliver value in production.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy AI workflows and agentic systems for enterprise clients, owning projects from architecture through production.

• Learn unfamiliar codebases and contribute production code with a high degree of independence.

• Work directly with executives and engineering teams across industries, including finance, entertainment, and consumer goods.

• Use modern AI coding tools to accelerate development and deliver robust software.

• Collaborate with AI strategists to scope opportunities and build systems that operate reliably in client environments.

What We're Looking For

• Three to eight years of software engineering experience, with evidence of personally building and shipping substantial production systems.

• Full-stack product engineering experience, including hands-on development and deployment, rather than a solely data, academic, or solutions-focused background.

• Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including familiarity with real cloud infrastructure challenges.

• Strong communication skills and comfort working with enterprise stakeholders and engineering teams.

• A high-ownership, adaptable approach suited to a fast-paced startup environment and in-person client work.

• Experience with Python and TypeScript is relevant; familiarity with agentic AI systems and coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York, United States, five days per week.
