🚀 Founding Customer Success Manager | AI Startup | San Francisco

$120K–$160K base | $150K–$200K OTE + equity

We are working with a fast-growing, VC-backed AI startup that’s already deployed its product with some of the largest operators in its market — and they’re hiring their first Customer Success Manager.

This isn’t a “manage the existing playbook” CSM role.

You’ll build the playbook.

What you’ll own:

• Own customer relationships from onboarding through expansion

• Drive product adoption, usage and account growth

• Identify new use cases and expansion opportunities

• Partner closely with engineers on integrations and deployments

• Run customer kickoffs, recurring meetings and strategic reviews

• Build scalable CS processes from 0 → 1

• Use AI and automation to eliminate repetitive CS workflows

• Work directly with the founders as the customer base scales

Who we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years in Customer Success, Implementation or Onboarding

• B2B SaaS / early-stage startup experience

• Track record of driving measurable usage expansion

• Comfortable building processes without an established playbook

• Technically curious — APIs, integrations and AI products don’t intimidate you

• Strong project management and account navigation skills

• Able to communicate equally well with operators, executives and technical teams

• High ownership, low ego, highly collaborative

Why it’s interesting:

• True Founding CSM mandate

• Build the CS function from scratch

• Direct access to the founders

• Product already handling millions of autonomous tasks

• Small, highly technical team with strong VC backing

• Clear opportunity to grow into CS leadership
