About the Role
Join a small, founding-stage team building AI systems for financial markets. You will work across the trading stack, taking ideas from research through production and helping the team move quickly from new approaches to live experiments.
What You'll Do
Own projects end to end, from initial idea and implementation through production deployment.
Build and extend data pipelines, trading signals, research infrastructure, and automated execution systems.
Create tools and systems that help the team launch live experiments quickly.
Work with quantitative and AI researchers on new approaches to market prediction.
Contribute across trading infrastructure, machine learning, and security as team needs evolve.
What We're Looking For
One to five years of full-time experience as a software engineer or quantitative developer.
A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics.
Strong software engineering skills in Python or C++, including ownership of a project from ideation to production.
Experience in quantitative development, trading systems, data infrastructure, systematic research, high-frequency trading, crypto, or fintech.
Strong statistical intuition, comfort working with noisy real-world data, and experience using AI-driven development tools.
Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment, with hands-on ownership beyond a single component. Quantitative trading internship or work experience is relevant.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $200,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Palo Alto, California, United States. The role requires working on-site six days per week.
