About the Role
Join an early-stage team building AI systems for financial markets. In this founding-level role, you will work across trading systems, data infrastructure, and research, taking ideas from initial exploration through production.
What You'll Do
Own projects end to end, from ideation and implementation through launch in production.
Build and extend data pipelines, trading signals, and research infrastructure.
Develop automated execution systems and tools that help the team move quickly from ideas to live experiments.
Collaborate with quantitative and AI researchers on approaches to market prediction.
Contribute across trading infrastructure, machine learning, and security as team needs evolve.
What We're Looking For
One to five years of full-time experience as a software engineer or quantitative developer.
A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics.
Strong software engineering skills in Python or C++ and a track record of independently shipping a project from concept to production.
Experience in quantitative development, trading systems, data infrastructure, systematic research, high-frequency trading, crypto, or fintech.
Strong statistical intuition, comfort with noisy real-world data, and experience using AI-assisted development tools.
Experience at a quantitative trading firm, including through an internship, is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $200,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Palo Alto, California, six days per week.
