We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Cost Performance Senior Analyst to join BP International Limited within the Oil & Gas sector. This role will be crucial in driving performance through robust financial analysis, cost management, and insightful reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead detailed financial analysis and modelling to identify cost drivers, efficiencies, and performance gaps within O&G operations.
* Build and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, specifically focusing on cost performance.
* Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights through data visualization and interpretation for various collaborators.
* Support integrated planning processes, ensuring alignment of cost performance targets with overall business objectives.
* Conduct comprehensive investment appraisal for new projects and initiatives, evaluating their financial viability and impact on cost structures.
* Monitor and analyze commercial performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.
* Collaborate with various business divisions to gather financial data, understand operational drivers, and influence initiatives.
* Prepare and present financial performance reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement in cost management processes and implement standard methodologies.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance management frameworks and tools.

Job Qualifications

* Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and performance management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key insights.
* Excellent commercial competence with a deep understanding of business drivers and their impact on financial performance.
* Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization and interpretation tools and techniques.
* Solid experience in investment appraisal methodologies and their application.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
* Experience with integrated planning processes and tools.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling software.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or equivalent experience or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
