The role We are hiring a Frontend Engineer to turn Worktrace AI’s ambitious product vision into reality. In this role, you will wear many hats: ideating, prototyping, and ultimately shipping frontend experiences in cutting-edge AI products. Along with building, you will identify key areas for engineering investment, build the technical foundation as we scale, and lead by example to build a healthy and strong engineering culture. What you’ll do Collaborate with Design, Research and Backend Engineering to build novel AI experiences Build beautiful, production-ready desktop and web experiences with React, Typescript, and CSS Set talent and culture standards for Worktrace AI’s engineering team You’ll excel in this role if you Have 3-5 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer Are proficient with React and TypeScript, or another modern framework with willingness to learn React Have developed desktop apps with Electron that interact with system APIs Have solid experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind Have a strong sense for clean design, accessibility, and polished experiences Love rapidly building user-facing products in a fast-paced environment Find joy in delivering AI magic moments to users Can convert vague specs into thoughtfully completed features Bring strong opinions about frontend architecture, and hold them loosely Benefits and perks Top-of-market salary and equity Visa sponsorship Lunch stipends Generous health and dental insurance for you and dependents Unlimited PTO 401K The Team Our founders are Angela Jiang (CMU PhD), an early product manager at OpenAI and led the launches of GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, and Deepak Vasisht (MIT PhD), a CS Professor at UIUC who has deployed cutting edge AI into industries spanning agriculture to space.
