Functional Manager, Power Electronics Engineering Jabil's Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) division is seeking a Functional Manager, Power Electronics Engineering to lead and grow a high-performing team delivering innovative power solutions across energy storage, data center infrastructure, renewable energy, critical power, and industrial applications. Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Relocation Assistance Available) What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of power electronics engineers and technical contributors. Drive hiring, onboarding, career development, performance management, and succession planning. Build and execute the functional roadmap for Power Electronics Engineering, including standards, processes, and best practices. Provide technical oversight on product development programs, design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering decisions. Partner with system architects, project managers, manufacturing, firmware, quality, mechanical, thermal, and supply chain teams to ensure successful program execution. Support customer opportunities, technical proposals, feasibility studies, and early-stage product development activities. Improve engineering efficiency, knowledge sharing, design reuse, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure engineering teams deliver robust, reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in power electronics, electrical power systems, or high-power product development. Previous experience leading engineering teams, technical organizations, or functional groups. Strong understanding of engineering development processes, design reviews, validation planning, risk management, and product lifecycle development. Experience working in cross-functional environments, including manufacturing, software, quality, supply chain, and project management. Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience Master's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with energy storage systems, renewable energy, data center power infrastructure, industrial power systems, or other mission-critical power applications. Experience developing engineering standards, capability roadmaps, and technical training programs. Familiarity with DFMEA, root cause analysis, requirements management, and design transfer to manufacturing. Why Jabil?
