Role Overview: The position is for a board-certified/eligible General Gastroenterologist to join a team supporting two rural hospitals. It involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with no requirement for EUS or ERCP procedures. The role includes managing a patient volume of 20-30 daily, working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and collaborating with residents.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services, utilize advanced technology like Epic EMR and Ambience AI to streamline documentation, and contribute to a team of physicians, advanced providers, and support staff.
Qualifications & Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology, excellent clinical skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and openness to new graduates.
