Nova Hotels is hiring a General Manager to lead daily operations at Nova Inn Edson while partnering closely with our corporate leadership team.

Nova Inn Edson features 144 units (traditional rooms and extended-stay suites) serving resource-sector guests, highway travelers, industrial partners, and long-term corporate visitors in west-central Alberta. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager, you act as the vital bridge between on-site team success and corporate goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Daily On-Site Leadership: Lead and support front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to maintain a clean, welcoming property. Stay visible daily across all operational areas.
• Financial Alignment: Partner with corporate leadership to build smart budgets, track monthly performance metrics and control operational expenses effectively.
• Coach & Develop: Hire, train, and guide a dependable team in a positive, supportive work environment.
• Guest & Account Relations: Build strong relationships with local business client, industrial accounts and community partners to maintain steady occupancy and guest satisfaction.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe, compliant environment aligned with health regulations and COR safety standards.

Who You Are

• Experienced as a General Manager, AGM, or a Senior Operations Manager looking to take their next step.
• Comfortable working in smaller, northern, or resource-based hospitality markets.
• Resourceful, grounded and ready to step in alongside your team whenever operational support is needed.
• Strong background in financial controls, team coaching, and customer service.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and ready to relocate to Edson, AB.
