Club Wyndham Patong Hill is seeking an exceptional hospitality leader to join our team as General Manager . Nestled in the hills overlooking Patong and just moments from Phuket's vibrant beaches, dining, entertainment, and shopping precincts, Club Wyndham Patong Hill offers guests and owners a premium resort experience in one of Thailand's most sought-after holiday destinations. Reporting to the Area General Manager, the General Manager is responsible for the overall operational success of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest and owner satisfaction, strong financial performance, and the development of a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a passionate hospitality professional with proven hotel operations experience, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to lead by example. How You'll Shine Lead the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control. Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives to maximize occupancy and resort profitability. Coach, mentor, and develop department leaders and team members to build a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, workplace health and safety standards, and operational procedures. Monitor and improve guest and owner satisfaction scores through proactive service excellence initiatives. Build strong relationships with owners, guests, local businesses, vendors, and community stakeholders. Manage capital expenditure projects, asset maintenance, and facility improvements. Partner with regional leadership to achieve strategic business objectives and operational targets. Ensure all departments consistently meet brand standards and operational expectations. You are a passionate people leader who thrives in a guest-focused environment and enjoys developing teams while delivering outstanding business results. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Proven experience in a General Manager or senior hotel leadership position, ideally within an international hospitality organisation. Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services. Excellent financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and profit optimisation. A results-driven mindset with the ability to make sound operational and business decisions. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated experience recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Outstanding customer service focus and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Professional presentation and a positive, engaging leadership style. Experience using Property Management Systems (Opera preferred) and Microsoft Office applications. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a related field are highly regarded.
