PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of a person responsible for gift wrapping is to ensure that gifts are presented in a manner that reflects the highest standards of elegance, attention to detail, and personalization.

Qualifications / Licenses / Skills

• Strong abilities in gift wrapping and creative presentation
• Ability to arrange balloons and occasional floral displays for events
• Good eye for colour themes, styling, and overall aesthetic coordination
• Fluent in English
• Well groomed
• 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  
  

DUTIES

• Gift wrapper focuses on making gifts look beautiful and ready for presentation, contributing to the excitement of gift-giving.
• Wrapping Gifts: Using wrapping paper, ribbons, and other decorative elements to wrap presents neatly and securely. This may also include using specialty packaging like boxes, bags, or tissue paper.
• Measuring and Cutting Wrapping Materials: Ensuring that the wrapping paper is the right size for the gift, cutting it to fit, and making sure the gift is completely covered.
• Organizing Supplies: Keeping a well-stocked inventory of wrapping materials, such as paper, ribbons, tags, boxes, and other decorative items.
• Personalizing Packages: Adding personalized touches like gift tags, cards, or custom ribbons to make the gift feel special.
• Ensuring Presentation Quality: Paying attention to the visual appeal of the wrapped gift, ensuring there are no creases, tears, or imperfections.
• Handling Different Types of Gifts: Wrapping various shapes and sizes of items, including irregularly shaped gifts, bottles, and large or small objects.
• Packing and Shipping: Sometimes, gift wrappers may be involved in preparing items for shipping, ensuring that gifts are securely packed to prevent damage during transport.
• Excellent Knowledge of Balloon Selections: This refers to having a strong understanding of various types of balloons, including their designs, sizes, colors, and materials, to ensure the right choice for any occasion or event.
• Be Creative and Come Up with New Ideas: This highlights the importance of creativity in generating fresh and innovative concepts, especially when it comes to designing or arranging balloons, to create unique and memorable experiences.
