Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ansøg om dette job Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) On behalf of our customer Quantica – an international group – Basico is looking for an exceptional Group CFO to architect and lead the financial infrastructure of Quantica's newly formed holding company based in Denmark. Quantica is a venture-backed additive manufacturing technology company pioneering breakthrough printhead innovation. They have developed proprietary high-viscosity jetting technology (NovoJet™) that enables printing with functional materials previously considered impossible. Based in Denmark, you'll navigate complex international accounting, multi-entity consolidation and high-growth financing while maintaining startup agility. Core responsibilities Financial architecture & Group structure Design and implement financial governance for holding company based in Denmark across international entities Lead post-merger financial integration, harmonising systems and establishing group-wide controls Ensure compliance with local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting Financial operations & scaling Build scalable financial systems to support continued growth Manage multi-currency operations, inter-company financing, and cash flow optimisation Maintain rigorous liquidity management across jurisdictions Strategic finance & investor relations Partner with the CEO on Series A/B/C fundraising, due diligence, and term sheet negotiations Deliver executive-level insights to the Board and manage relationships with VCs (Novo Holdings, EIFO etc.) Serve as the primary financial contact for investors, auditors, banks, and tax authorities. Leadership & team building Lead recruitment and development of a small, international finance team Partner cross-functionally with CTO, operations, and commercial teams Manage distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures What you bring Required: 10+ years’ finance experience, 5+ years as CFO/Finance Director at high-growth tech companies Multi-entity expertise: Managing finances across multiple jurisdictions (Denmark, Germany or EU) Startup/scale-up experience: Fundraising cycles, burn rate management, rapid growth International accounting: IFRS, local GAAP, cross-border consolidation Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, Wirtschaftsprüfer or equivalent) Fluent in English; German or Danish is a strong plus Preferred: Experience from deep-tech or hardware environments Experience with growth transformations or complex change journeys ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) Familiarity with international markets and investor reporting Key competencies Strategic operator: Expert in financial architecture, but hands-on when needed ‒ closing books, optimising models or negotiating contracts Cultural leader: Thrive managing teams across countries, time zones and cultures through transparency and clear communication Startup resilience: Navigate funding gaps, pivots and rapid change while maintaining focus and stakeholder confidence Exceptional communicator: Translate complex finance for technical teams, inspire investor confidence, and negotiate with authorities ‒ all with relentless execution focus What Quantica offers Equity ownership in high-potential deep-tech venture Strategic leadership role with direct Board exposure Competitive compensation: Base salary, bonus, and equity Flexible hybrid working setup with Denmark as the base Relocation support available.
