The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will lead the strategic oversight of Food & Beverage cost control across the Collection. Working in close partnership with Hotel Management, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams, you will ensure the consistent implementation of best-in-class cost control standards, deliver meaningful financial insight, and contribute directly to the Group's commercial success.
Your expertise will support informed decision-making, strengthen financial governance, and drive sustainable profitability while preserving the exceptional guest experience that defines HHC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group-wide monitoring, analysis, and optimization of Food & Beverage costs across all hotel operations.
- Deliver insightful analysis of Budget, Forecast, and Actual performance to support strategic planning and executive decision-making.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing controls, invoice validation, and supplier pricing compliance to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor commercial agreements, negotiated pricing, rebates, discounts, and identify invoicing variances to maximize commercial value.
- Ensure robust cost control across POS, PMS, and ERP platforms, overseeing voids, discounts, complimentary items, staff meals, and related operational controls.
- Drive food cost optimization through recipe costing, menu engineering, yield analysis, portion control, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Produce executive-level financial reports, KPI dashboards, and performance analyses that provide clear business insight.
- Establish and maintain Group-wide cost control standards, conduct internal audits, deliver operational training, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional with a strong hospitality background and a proven ability to translate financial data into strategic business value.
You bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in F&B Cost Control, Financial Analysis, or Cost Control within a luxury hotel group or hospitality organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Food & Beverage cost control, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities and strong experience with ERP, PMS, and POS systems.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to partner effectively with both operational and corporate leadership.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are highly valued.
