EA First is recruiting a Group Finance Manager for an established, privately owned business based in Perivale, London Borough of Ealing.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership opportunity combining financial control, commercial business partnering and operational responsibility. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, influencing commercial decisions and improving financial performance across the Group.

Detailed Job Description

The Group Finance Manager will take ownership of financial management, reporting and commercial support across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading monthly management accounts, departmental P&Ls, Board reporting and financial controls.
• Business partnering with senior leadership and operational stakeholders, providing commercial insight and constructive challenge.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, ensuring accountability across departmental budget holders.
• Developing meaningful financial dashboards and KPIs for marketing, e-commerce and other operational functions.
• Analysing profitability across products, customers, sales channels and property assets to improve margins and returns.
• Managing cashflow, working capital, treasury and inventory accounting.
• Supporting financial management across the Group's Commercial Real Estate activities.
• Driving improvements in financial reporting and systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Managing and developing a small finance team while overseeing relevant administrative support functions.
• Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance with statutory and reporting requirements.

Candidate's Profile

We are seeking a commercially focused finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and a hands-on approach.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, although Qualified by Experience (QBE) accountants will also be considered.
• Proven business partnering skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing and developing a small finance team.
• Strong ERP and reporting systems knowledge; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous.
• Exposure to trading, distribution, e-commerce, inventory or Commercial Real Estate would be beneficial.
• A proactive, commercially curious approach with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business decisions.
