GTM Engineer – AI Video

Clay and Apollo are your playground, and you've built an outbound engine with your own hands? Build the next one from zero.

A young AI lab in San Francisco makes video creation as easy as AI made coding: a desktop app that brings a large library of AI models, search, motion graphics and editing into the AI assistant people already use. The launch drew strong public attention, and the founders have built and sold companies before. What they haven't done is outbound. That's where you come in: you build the engine, own the numbers, and teach the team how it works.

What you'll own

• Building outbound from scratch: finding and qualifying leads, running email campaigns, tracking replies and buying signals
• A steady flow of qualified leads and booked calls
• Testing new channels quickly and keeping what works profitably
• Agentic automations across the GTM stack: research, personalisation, routing
• Room to take on paid, SEO and AEO once outbound runs

Must-haves

• You've personally built and run outbound: sourcing, qualifying, sequencing and tracking. Managing a team that did it isn't the same.
• Clay and Apollo are second nature, and you use AI agents throughout your work
• Concrete numbers to show for it, such as pipeline, meetings set or revenue
• 1+ year of hands-on GTM experience after graduating
• On-site in San Francisco every weekday, with long days (roughly 9 to 9); happy to help you relocate

Bonus points

• Clay Cup entries or wins, or outbound builds you share in public
• Paid acquisition, SEO/AEO, media buying or analytics
• Founding SDR or growth lead at a fast-growing AI or SaaS startup

What's in it for you

• $130k–$170k base + 0.1–0.7% equity
• Full ownership of revenue and growth from day one

• Full-time, on-site in San Francisco, 9-9-5
• This is a doer's role: you set up the systems yourself, not a strategy-only or supervising role
• Process: screen with the head of operations → on-site outbound and systems assessment → culture conversation with the CEO → references → offer
