Head Baker / Bakery Production Manager

Join PAUL Greece PAUL, the internationally renowned French bakery, pastry and café brand operating in more than 50 countries, is looking for an experienced Head Baker / Bakery Production Manager to join its central production bakery in Glyfada, Athens . We are looking for a passionate bakery professional who will lead our production team, ensure the highest product quality and contribute to the continued growth of the PAUL brand in Greece. Key Responsibilities Plan, organise and supervise the daily bakery production. Ensure the consistent quality of all bakery products. Train, mentor and develop the bakery production team. Organise production schedules and daily workflow. Monitor the maintenance and proper use of bakery equipment. Ensure full compliance with food safety and HACCP procedures. Monitor raw material usage and minimise waste. Work closely with management to continuously improve production processes. Candidate Profile Previous experience as a Head Baker, Bakery Supervisor or Bakery Production Manager. Fluent in English. Strong technical knowledge of artisan bread and bakery production. Leadership and people management skills. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Professional attitude with a strong team-oriented approach. What We Offer Net monthly salary: €1,500 (14 salaries per year). €150 net Edenred prepaid benefit card monthly. This is an overnight production role , as is standard in professional artisan bakery operations. The Head Baker's working schedule will be determined according to production requirements and operational needs. While overnight work is an essential part of the position, the successful candidate will have the flexibility to organise and adjust their working hours, once fully integrated into the role, in order to effectively supervise production, ensure product quality, manage the team and oversee the daily operation of the bakery. Relocation & Immigration Support For candidates relocating from outside the European Union, the Company will provide full assistance throughout the relocation process. We will cover all legal and administrative costs relating to: Work Permit Residence Permit Visa support (where applicable) Government applications and documentation Immigration legal assistance Successful candidates will be employed under a full-time Greek employment contract. Due to the significant investment involved in the relocation and immigration process, successful candidates are expected to commit to a minimum employment period of two (2) years .
