We are looking for a Head of High School for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available for the 2027–28 academic year

Located in a modern, high-tech district of southwest Chengdu, this spacious and well-equipped campus offers both international and bilingual curricula. The school opened in 2022 and has capacity for over 1,800 students, with facilities including science laboratories, a library, a gymnasium and extensive outdoor spaces. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the high school division, ensuring academic excellence and achievement of school and network performance goals
• Conduct daily classroom observations and provide feedback and coaching to support teachers’ professional growth
• Encourage collaboration and the exchange of teaching practices while maintaining a positive school culture
• Implement school and network policies, procedures and management systems
• Oversee academic guidance, grading and student assessment standards
• Work with the Head of School, Director of Academic Programs and other division heads to develop the school timetable and calendar
• Manage the division’s English language learner program and promote an immersive English learning environment

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a master’s degree or above preferred
• At least five years of experience in education, preferably in a private school setting
• At least three years of leadership experience at high school level
• Demonstrated ability to coach teachers and improve instructional practice
• Strong understanding of and experience with university admissions
• Proven track record of improving educational outcomes
• Collaborative leadership style with strong team-building skills
