About the company and project
Marfields Group is developing St. Regis Residences Limassol, a luxury branded development in Cyprus valued at around €400 million. The project covers two buildings with approximately 250 residences and premium offices, and is at its earliest stage, before excavation.
Design was previously outsourced to consultancies. Because St. Regis buyers require extensive customisation of their apartments (finishes, FF&E, layouts), Marfields Group is now building an in-house design team to manage these changes from the ground up.
The role
The Head of Design builds and leads the in-house design team and owns the design of St. Regis Residences Limassol, including buyer customisations.
Reports to: Dario Berego, Chief Design Officer (CDO)
Leads: a team of around 5, including the Architect and Interior Designer
Location: on-site in Limassol, Cyprus
Key responsibilities
Set up and lead the in-house design team: structure, workflows, standards and tools.
Lead architectural and interior design for the project, in line with St. Regis brand standards.
Manage the buyer customisation process (finishes, FF&E, layout changes) from request to handover.
Coordinate external consultants, engineers and suppliers.
Work closely with the construction team to ensure design is buildable, on time and on budget.
Present design concepts and options to senior management and, where needed, to buyers.
Requirements
Essential
10+ years in architecture or interior design, including at least 3 years leading a design team.
Experience on luxury residential or branded residences projects.
Developer-side (client-side) experience managing design from concept through construction.
Strong technical delivery: coordination of drawings, specifications and consultants.
Fluent English.
Desirable
Russian language (many buyers are Russian-speaking).
Experience with hospitality-branded developments (St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons or similar).
Experience managing buyer customisations or FF&E packages.
Degree in architecture or interior design.
What we offer
Contract: permanent Cyprus employment contract with social insurance and access to the National Health System (GeSY).
Tax: eligible employees on salaries above €55,000 may benefit from Cyprus's 50% income tax exemption.Relocation: flight tickets, help finding accommodation plus the first month's accommodation, and work visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens.
Company car with fuel.
Working hours: flexible start between 8 and 9 AM, finish between 5 and 6 PM, one-hour break.
