Founded in 1998, we are one of Vietnam's established diagnostic healthcare providers. Over 28 years we have grown from a single diagnostic laboratory into an integrated healthcare network combining laboratory diagnostics, medical expertise, digital technology and accessible care.

Our central laboratory covers core testing (haematology, biochemistry, immunology, coagulation) on an automated track system, molecular biology in a BSL-2 facility with high-throughput PCR capacity, genetics including non-invasive prenatal screening, anatomical pathology and cytology, and microbiology.
We are evolving from a diagnostics provider into a lifelong preventive health partner. Our laboratory is not a cost centre to be held steady — it is the engine of that strategy, and the person who leads it will shape how far and how fast we can go.
If you have run a laboratory like this, you will recognise the job
We operate a hub-and-spoke model: one central reference laboratory serving a distributed network of collection sites across a region. If you have led a laboratory inside an independent diagnostic chain, a multi-site pathology network, or the clinical laboratory department of a tertiary hospital, this is the same problem set — sample logistics, turnaround time discipline, standardised pre-analytical quality across sites, and a menu that has to keep expanding without the quality system slipping.
What may be new is the scope. You will hold the quality system, the team, the equipment roadmap and the budget together, rather than one of them.

Medical degree requirement: Our preference is a medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate specialisation in laboratory medicine. Candidates from a senior clinical laboratory science or medical technologist career track, at chief or department-head grade, are also encouraged to apply.

- The laboratory quality management system: internal QC, external quality assessment and proficiency testing, method validation and verification, corrective and preventive action
- ISO 15189:2022 accreditation — maintenance, surveillance audits and scope extension as we add capabilities
- Diagnostic accuracy, turnaround time and error reduction across all disciplines
- Pre-analytical standardisation across 40+ collection sites
People
- Leadership of a team of 20+ laboratory staff, including scientific officers, technologists and technicians
- Competency assessment, training design and technical mentoring — delivered by working alongside the team
- Succession planning for key technical positions
Operations and technology
- LIMS optimisation, middleware, and integration with our clinical and commercial systems
- Automation strategy: track systems, analyser platforms, workflow redesign, capacity planning
- Budget and capital expenditure planning; inventory forecasting; supplier evaluation and negotiation
- Test menu expansion — bringing new assays and disciplines online
Clinical interface
- Advising referring clinicians on test selection, methodology, interpretation and clinical significance
- Acting as the laboratory's senior scientific voice with clinical partners, regulators and accreditation bodies
Experience we are looking for
- 7+ years leading clinical laboratory operations, including at least 3 years accountable for a laboratory of comparable scale and complexity
- Deep, hands-on expertise across 2–3 laboratory disciplines
- Experience in a multi-site or network laboratory model — a central lab serving distributed collection points — is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated accreditation experience: preparation, audit or maintenance under ISO 15189 or a national equivalent listed above
- Track record in automation implementation, workflow improvement or laboratory expansion — projects you led and delivered, not only approved
- Budget and capex ownership; inventory forecasting; supplier negotiation
Language
Professional working English, spoken and written, is required. English is the working language of our leadership team and our international partners, and interviews are conducted in English.
Vietnamese is good to have but not compulsory.

Licensing and work authorisation — what to expect
We understand that international candidates will not hold a Vietnamese medical practising certificate on arrival, and we do not expect you to. This is a process we manage, not an obstacle we pass to you.
- Work permit, temporary residence card and dependent visas are sponsored and administered by us. Our HR team manages the full process, including document legalisation and consular steps.
- Professional licensing:
- Result authorisation and clinical sign-off are held by our locally licensed pathologist. Your accountability is technical, scientific and operational leadership of the laboratory.
- Your qualifications and prior registration will need to be legalised and translated. We cover the cost and manage the process.
