Overview
The Secondary Maths Teacher will deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across secondary year levels, adapting instruction to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
Responsibilities will include planning and delivering effective lessons, designing and assessing student work, tracking academic progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum development, collaborate closely with colleagues, participate in professional development and school activities, and support a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Teachers may also be required to provide class cover when necessary.
Additional duties may be assigned by school leadership.

The Ideal Candidate
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related subject
A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS or equivalent
At least two years of full-time secondary Mathematics teaching experience, preferably within an international or bilingual school
Experience teaching an international curriculum; IB/PYP/MYP experience would be advantageous
Strong understanding of effective Mathematics teaching, differentiation, assessment, and classroom management
Ability to create engaging lessons that develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Confident using technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning
Strong organisational and classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
A proactive, flexible, and student-focused approach to teaching
