Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to take on the role of Head of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department within a well-established regional health service.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an O&G specialist seeking to combine clinical practice, departmental leadership and service development within a supportive regional hospital.
The Opportunity This is a permanent full-time Staff Specialist position, working 40 hours per week, with responsibility for providing specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology services while providing clinical leadership across the department.
As Head of O&G, you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing development and delivery of high-quality maternity and gynaecological services to the local and surrounding communities.

Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants will require:
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
- Appropriate specialist qualifications recognised in Australia
- International Medical Graduates with an appropriate specialist pathway to AHPRA registration are encouraged to enquire
- Recent clinical experience as a Senior Medical Officer / Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Demonstrated recent clinical leadership and management experience
- Strong communication, leadership and multidisciplinary skills
