Hextrion is developing next-generation semiconductor advanced packaging to dramatically reduce the energy use, cost and physical footprint of future AI compute. As transistor scaling reaches its physical limits, advanced packaging has become the primary driver of AI performance, determining how efficiently data and power move to and between chips.

We are led by former C-suite and senior executives from the global advanced packaging leaders serving NVIDIA, AMD, Broadcom, Google, Amazon and Microsoft. They are joined by physics AI researchers from Harvard and industry leaders who have deployed production AI systems at TSMC and Apple component manufacturers. We combine deep packaging expertise with physics AI agents and reinforcement learning to design and manufacture advanced packaging with greater performance, precision and yield than current methods deliver.

About the role

As Head of Strategy and Business Development, you'll work closely with our founders and executive team to turn Hextrion's strategy into execution. You'll drive the analysis, planning and coordination behind our key initiatives, from partnerships and new programs to scaling our operations across the U.S. and Taiwan. This is a high-impact role at the center of the company, with direct exposure to experienced industry leaders and the opportunity to grow with the business.

What you'll do

• Partner with the executive team to execute company strategy and key initiatives.
• Analyze markets, competitors, technology trends and customer needs to support leadership decisions.
• Develop business plans and strategic analyses for new initiatives, facilities and products.
• Support the structuring and negotiation of strategic partnerships and agreements, working alongside the executives who own key industry relationships.
• Lead high-priority cross-functional projects across engineering, AI, manufacturing and leadership teams.
• Help build planning processes, goals and metrics as the company scales.

What we're looking for

• 3–5+ years of experience as a strategy consultant at a top firm (such as McKinsey, BCG or Bain) with a focus on technology, ideally hardware or semiconductors, or in strategy or product management at a leading technology company (such as Google, NVIDIA or AMD).
• Experience in semiconductors, advanced packaging, hardware, or AI infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex problems into clear recommendations.
• Technical fluency, and the ability to work credibly with engineers and executives.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• High ownership, comfort with ambiguity and the drive to build in a fast-moving startup.

Role Details

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree.
• Compensation: $180,000–$250,000 + equity, depending on experience.
• Visa sponsorship: Yes. We will support the visa process.
