Posted Date: 2 Jun 2026 Location: Your new role as the Auto Electrician Leading Hand will report into the Workshop Supervisor. Working on a Full-Time basis at our Guildford site. Department Overview: The New Mining Machines Department at WesTrac specializes in providing cutting-edge machinery solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the mining industry. Roster: Monday to Friday. 10.5 hours (including a meal break) What You’ll Do: Lead and motivate a team of up to 10 employees within the New Machines Team. Overhauling electrical systems, performing diagnostics, and replacing electrical components & air-conditioning systems Work alongside team member to manage and complete high volume tasks efficiently Promote, encourage and monitor safety to a high standard within the team Skills & Experience: Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Auto Electrician) Exposure to mining / construction equipment or other industrial areas such as agriculture or highway trucks, hire equipment is highly considered CAT equipment experience is highly desirable Team leadership experience with ability to lead from the front with Safety as this will be paramount Strong understanding of KPI metrics from receiving a task to component dispatch Ability to coach and mentor teams Our Benefits inclusive of but not limited to: Financial Benefits – Paid Parental Leave & Secondary Carers Leave, Salary Sacrificing, Novated Leasing, Income Protection Insurance & More than 600 retail discounts such as Coles, Petbarn, Virgin, HOYTS & Crown.
