Memorial Health System is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist / Medical Oncologist to join an established, multidisciplinary cancer care team serving a regional catchment of roughly 400,000 residents across southeastern Ohio and northwestern West Virginia. Practice community oncology with the infrastructure of a regional referral hub and genuine clinical autonomy.

Responsibilities

Practice Highlights


  • Established Cancer Center: Practice out of a modern facility directly connected to Marietta Memorial Hospital.
  • Multidisciplinary Support: Close collaboration with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, specialized oncology nursing, and dedicated navigators.

  • Turnkey Volume: Instant clinical volume fed by an employed network of 440+ providers.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with BC/BE in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license.
  • Open to practicing oncologists and graduating 2026/2027 fellows.


Required Skills

  • BC/BE in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
  • Ability to practice community oncology with clinical autonomy.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary cancer care team.
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR across inpatient and outpatient suites.


Pay range and compensation package


Financial Package & Benefits


  • Compensation: Competitive guaranteed base salary of $750,000 plus uncapped wRVU productivity incentives.
  • Sign-On Incentive: Substantial upfront lump-sum sign-on bonus.
  • Student Loan Assistance: Up to $100,000 ($20,000/year over 5 years).
  • Relocation Support: Up to $15,000 (direct bill or reimbursement).
  • CME & Dues: $3,000 annual CME budget; Ohio medical license, DEA, and board dues fully covered outside CME.
