Build Exceptional Projects With Southern Staircase Southern Staircase, an Edge Building Solutions company, is seeking a skilled High-End Handrail Installation Specialist to install premium handrail systems for residential and commercial construction projects. When you come to Southern Staircase, you'll receive: Competitive pay of $28.00–$32.00 per hour , based on experience $1,000 hiring bonus Relocation assistance for qualified candidates Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off Nine Paid Holidays Full-time, year-round work on premium construction projects What You'll Do Your responsibilities will include: Install custom wood, metal, glass, and cable handrail systems for new construction and renovation projects Read blueprints, layouts, and project specifications to ensure accurate installations Take detailed field measurements and verify compliance with building codes Perform precision finish carpentry while maintaining high quality standards Communicate regularly with the Installation Manager regarding project progress and material needs Maintain organized, safe, and professional job sites Deliver outstanding workmanship and customer service on every installation Qualifications Successful candidates will have: At least 5 years of professional handrail installation experience (Required) Experience installing over-the-post and curved rail systems is strongly preferred Advanced finish carpentry and trim installation skills Ability to read construction drawings and installation plans Strong math and geometry skills for accurate layout and fitting Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work in active construction environments Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 75% or more) Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to craftsmanship About Southern Staircase Southern Staircase, part of Edge Building Solutions, designs and installs premium stair and handrail systems for leading builders and developers.
