Altia Central is accepting applications from candidates overseas or in Japan to join their team of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) from August 2026 and beyond, placed in junior high, elementary schools, and kindergartens mostly across Aichi, Gifu, Shizuoka, Okayama, and Hiroshima prefectures.
Requirements
Native English speaker; bachelor’s degree or higher; engaging and culturally sensitive; flexible and eager to live in Japan for a minimum of one year; previous teaching experience (ALT to ESL tutoring); basic Japanese with conversational level strongly preferred; ability to drive in Japan preferred.
