Hybrid PM Assistant / Developer – Hedge Fund **MONACO** – Large comp + FO progression

Our client, a highly prestigious hedge fund with exceptional investment leadership and institutional backing, is looking to hire a technically strong Portfolio Manager Assistant into their new launch Monaco office (Q1 2027).

The role will have an exceptionally broad remit, combining traditional trader assistant responsibilities, including post-trade workflows and portfolio risk monitoring, with a significant focus on technology, development and automation. The hire will play a key role in designing and building proprietary tools and systems for the investment team, leveraging advanced Python and SQL skills to support live market data analysis, enhance trading infrastructure and automate existing operational processes. Alongside this, there will be opportunities to take ownership of bespoke research, technology development and wider business-building projects as the fund continues to scale.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience across the buy-side or investment banking, alongside strong programming capabilities, particularly in Python, including object-oriented programming, and a good working knowledge of SQL.

The role offers up to €100k base salary, a highly competitive performance-linked bonus and relocation support to Monaco.
