Role description
You will play a key role in bringing semiconductor products from validation to production. You will combine practical laboratory execution with structured measurement analysis, turning test requirements into reliable measurements and actionable engineering insights.
Working hands-on in the lab, you will set up, debug, automate, and execute IC tests across various test benches and measurement setups. You will collaborate closely with internal IC design, validation, application, and system engineering teams, as well as external testing providers, to support the transition from laboratory validation toward production-oriented testing.
This position is offered through an engineering consulting company. You will be employed by the consulting company and assigned to the client’s project.
Assignment: 6 month with a possibility of prolongation
Contract: Permanent (payroll) or B2B (freelance) contract based on your preference
Visa: EU work authorization is preffered; visa support is available only for candidates already residing within the European Economic Area
Work arrangement: 4 days on-site, 1 day flexible
Salary: €60k–€70k gross per year
Start: immediately

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and measurement workflows using Python, MATLAB, or similar environments.
- Prepare clear and concise test reports, including plots, observations, pass/fail criteria, conclusions, and recommended next steps.
- Work closely with IC design, validation, application, and system engineering teams.
- Coordinate with external test houses and test-service providers on test requirements, implementation, logistics, data exchange, issue tracking, and schedules.
- Support the transition from laboratory validation toward production-oriented testing and ATE environments.
Main requirements
- Experience in IC testing, semiconductor validation, or electronic system testing.
- Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and laboratory measurement equipment.
- Solid experience with Python, MATLAB, or a similar test automation environment.
Other requirements
- Strong understanding of PCB-based test setups, fixtures, cabling, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
- Ability to perform structured measurement-data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working hands-on in a laboratory environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, accurate approach to documentation and reporting.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have, but not mandatory
- Experience with PMICs, voltage regulators, or power-management ICs.
Benefits
- (payroll only) Representation bonus of €140–€200 per month.
