What You'll Do
- Analyze and improve manufacturing and business processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Perform time studies, work measurements, and process analysis.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with capacity planning, production planning, and resource optimization.
- Support quality improvement and root-cause analysis activities.
- Develop process maps, flow charts, and operational models.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, operations, and management teams.
- Support implementation of automation and technology solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare analytical reports.
- Participate in cost-reduction and operational-efficiency initiatives.
- Assist with project management and implementation of process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 0–3 years of professional, internship, academic, or hands-on industrial engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of process improvement and engineering fundamentals.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or production processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of quality management and root-cause analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data-analysis tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to analyze processes and recommend practical improvements.
