Project Overview: The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is fueling unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S. This project is of significant scale and complexity, and our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery this year. The succesful candidate will mobilize on a long-term (camp) assignment to Pecos, Texas. This position is contingent upon project award. Job Summary: Reporting to the Project IR Manager, routine responsibilities include but are not limited to administering training to Craft Professional on the project, tracking / recording of this data to include producing ad hoc reports as required. This will be accomplished using Bechtel’s Capabilities Assessment Program (CAP). #LI-TH1 Major Responsibilities: Ensures that the training and assessment programs are consistent with the Craft Assessment Program (CAP) guidelines and procedures. Provides guidance for training to all levels of Craft Professionals, including apprentices, journeyman, foreman and general foreman. Oversees/performing capability assessments via the CAP Program. Performs NCCER administration of the craft training and certification program on the project, ensuring the company remains in strict compliance with NCCER regulations. Responsible for project training facility layout, resource allocation, set-up and maintenance. Coordinates and monitors classes, instructors, facilities, class times, participants (level) and instructor evaluations. Collects, assembles, and analyzes training data and provides reports to site and management regarding the projects training activities. Maintains data in relevant project systems. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish languages. Experienced at presenting to large diverse audiences. Has multiple years of field experience in Rigging on medium to large projects. Proven ability to define goals and deliverables and implement key programs on time and within budget. Great analytical and strategic planning skills: able to prioritize, balance short and long-term priorities. Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office suite to manage data on large scale projects. Prior Labor Relations Workforce Development/Training experience required. Advanced understanding of NCCER or Union equivalent administration guidelines and certification program on projects. Advanced knowledge of project training facility layout, resource allocation, set-up and maintenance. Intermediate knowledge of Bechtel’s Capability Assessment Program (CAP).
