Job Description: IBD Specialist When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will join an established Inflammatory Bowel Disease practice that is part of a nationally recognized health system and is Utah’s most extensive health care network, offering top-tier patient care. The expanding multidisciplinary IBD team is led by an IBD Medical Director and includes an IBD Registered Dietitian, an IBD RN, and a comprehensive care model. The practice is experiencing significant growth and has an excellent tertiary-referral base to the IBD clinic, comprised of employed and affiliated PCPs, GI providers and colorectal surgeons. This position includes a starting base salary of $650,000 /annually, a $50,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, a $1,500 monthly training stipend for up to two years and up to $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable and future AEC opportunities are also available You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, choose a subspecialist gastroenterology track in IBD and will dedicate at least 50% of clinical care time to IBD care. Your call schedule is shared with group and expected at minimum of 1:5 w/ additional call pay for extra call shifts This clinic is supported by a network of affiliated, Intermountain Medical Group primary care and specialty care physicians and a 1:2 APP to Physician ratio The GI department holds monthly GI educational conferences including IBD case conference, GI multidisciplinary conferences, annual gastroenterology conferences You will have opportunities to be involved in community outreach programming, rural telehealth program and opportunities to be involved in clinical research, if desired How we'll support you: We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package.
