Opportunity Details Position Title: BE/BC Inpatient General Psychiatrist Location: Panama City, FL Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital. Located in the heart of beautiful Panama City, Florida, Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families and veterans. Position Overview: Role: Full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist, Adult Unit Patient Population: Daily caseload will be adult populations but must be comfortable and willing to treat ages 12 and older for weekend call Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours, onsite only Weekend Coverage: 1:4 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding and telephonic call Weekday Call: One evening call shift per week by phone only. Employment Type: Full-time employed salary with benefits or fee for service options Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan for employed W2 Key Responsibilities: Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients. Participate in daily treatment team meetings. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. Supervision of NP Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary for full-time W-2. Fee for service option is available Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance, paid time off, CME package for full-time W-2 Relocation assistance and/or sign-on bonuses are available for full-time W-2. Competitive rates for fee for service Qualifications: Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry, BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus. Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program a plus.
