Raffles Institute Jakarta is urgently seeking an industry-focused Interior Design Lecturer to join our international faculty. This role is designed for a design practitioner who excels at translating complex theories into practical, industry-standard skills for undergraduate students.
The Role
This is a strictly instructional and mentorship-focused position emphasizing hands-on studio work, real-world project simulations, and technical rigor.
- Technical Instruction: Teach advanced Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Visualization (Enscape/V-Ray).
- Construction Studies: Deliver comprehensive modules on Building Technology, Materials, Finishes, and Detailing.
- Design Fundamentals: Lead interactive studios on Residential, Commercial/Retail, and Hospitality Design.
- Mentorship: Guide students through professional portfolio development, live project briefs, and industry-standard critiques.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related discipline (Mandatory for Indonesian work visa processing).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary/university level.
- Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in Revit, 3D CAD, and modern BIM methodologies.
- Language: Fluent in English (the primary medium of instruction).
