Interventional Cardiologist

Role Overview: An academic Interventional Cardiologist is sought to help develop a STEMI program and expand interventional cardiology services at a Level I Trauma Center. This position offers leadership opportunities within a growing medical academic center dedicated to teaching, research, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance STEMI and interventional cardiology programs
• Provide patient care, comprising approximately 90% of duties
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Contribute to research and academic initiatives
• Support clinical growth and service line development with leadership skills
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Board-certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, or advanced cardiology
• Experience working without surgical backup
• Leadership potential for roles such as Division Chief or program leader
• Comfortable balancing patient care, teaching, and research
