ABOUT THE ROLE: As a HSE Engineer Intern in the Honeywell Aerospace ISC URDP at Honeywell Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the organization. You will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of employees, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainability while collaborating with various departments. In this role, you will impact our organization by assisting in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices. Your contributions will help protect our workforce and enhance operational efficiency and productivity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Assist in developing and implementing HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility. · Support compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications. · Participate in safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures. Location: This position is available in multiple locations across the Phoenix Area. The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications. The hourly base range for this position is $19.00/hr - $46.00/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Occupational Safety and Health, Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), Industrial Hygiene (IH), Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, Public Health (Environmental or Occupational Health focus), Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar field Must attain degree between December 2027- June 2028 Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher) Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. Honeywell Aerospace is currently unable to consider applicants who would require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization for this position.
