About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically capable IT Engineer / IT Officer to support the technology setup and ongoing IT operations of a newly established company in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT infrastructure and troubleshooting skills, along with exposure to AI, programming, software development, and emerging technologies. The role requires someone who can work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, and introduce practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup and implementation of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems from the initial stage.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations, hardware, software, networks, and user support.
• Troubleshoot technical, network, hardware, and software issues.
• Support the implementation of digital solutions and emerging technologies.
• Explore and introduce AI tools, automation, and technology solutions that improve business efficiency.
• Collaborate on software development, programming, and system integration initiatives where required.
• Maintain IT security, access controls, backups, and system reliability.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions based on business requirements.
• Work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous ADGM experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, and software.
• Experience or exposure to AI, programming, software development, or emerging technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT requirements.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to introduce new ideas and digital solutions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
