Bilingual IT Helpdesk Engineer

Salary

JPY 4,000,000 - 5,000,000 per year

3-month probation period (same salary and benefits)

About The Role

We are looking for a Bilingual IT Helpdesk Engineer to provide technical support for end users in a professional IT environment. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in IT support who are looking to grow their careers in Japan while working in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote IT support for hardware and software issues.
Respond to helpdesk tickets and user inquiries.
Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, peripherals, and network connectivity.
Support both Japanese-speaking and English-speaking users.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and solutions.
Deliver high-quality customer service and technical support.

Requirements

Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or above).
Business-level English.
At least 6 months of IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Technical Support experience.
Experience supporting Windows PCs, hardware, software, and network devices.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest in building a long-term career in Japan.
Motivation to improve Japanese language skills.
Passion for developing advanced technical expertise.
IT certifications are a plus.

Working Hours

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (8 hours/day)
Shift work may be required depending on the project.
Average overtime: approximately 7 hours per month.
