IT Project Manager [1 Year Fixed Term Contract - Based in Cayman Islands]

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within an established financial services firm. The successful candidate will oversee the project from planning through to go-live, ensuring the system meets business requirements, improves operational efficiency, and is delivered on time and within budget. This will be a fixed term contract of 12 months (potentially extending to 15 months).

Salary Range: US$120-160k

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end ERP implementation, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
• Work closely with senior management, internal teams, and external software vendors or consultants to define requirements and project objectives.
• Coordinate system configuration, data migration, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and timelines.
• Oversee staff training, change management, and the transition to the new system.
• Ensure the ERP solution supports the firm's financial, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience managing ERP implementation projects from inception through to go-live.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills.
• Experience working with ERP platforms and coordinating external technology vendors.
• Understanding of financial services operations, accounting, or regulatory environments would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage a hands-on project within a small organisation.
