IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "RU READY" Support the transition towards a circular economy between Greece and North Macedonia VOLUNTEER DIACHEIRISH APORRIMMATON DYTIKHS MAKEDONIAS - DIADYMA SA / WASTE MANAGEMENT OF WESTERN MACEDONIA is looking for an IVY volunteer! The volunteer will support the Interreg project “RU READY - Reduce, reUse and RecyclE Actions for cross borDer interplaY" , under the Programme INTERREG GREECE-NORTH MACEDONIA. The objective of the Interreg project "RU READY" is to support the transition toward a circular economy in the cross-border (CBC) area between Greece and North Macedonia, where recycling and waste reuse rates remain far below EU targets. The project responds to the urgent need for improved waste management, stronger citizen involvement, and the adoption of the 3Rs principles: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities: supporting the preparation and dissemination of communication materials about the project, its activities and results; supporting the management and updating of project communication channels, including social media and the project website; assisting in the preparation of posts, short articles, visual content and other communication materials related to circular economy, recycling, reuse and responsible waste management; supporting the communication and promotion of project events, workshops, awareness-raising activities and knowledge-exchange activities; assisting in documenting project activities through photographs, short videos and other communication material; supporting the dissemination of project results and good practices to citizens, stakeholders, local authorities and other relevant target groups; contributing to the preparation of communication material presenting the cross-border cooperation between Greece and North Macedonia; supporting the visibility of the Interreg VI-A IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Greece–North Macedonia 2021–2027 and the European added value of the project. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 21.48 EUR to 92.96 EUR per day. Insurance IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience, if needed. Contribution to travel costs Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km. Visa Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, residence permit, or any other authorization required to legally enter, reside, and carry out their volunteering activity in the hosting country. Once selected, volunteers are expected to complete all necessary administrative procedures, and submit the required documentation to the relevant authorities. For eligible volunteers relocating between countries participating in the IVY initiative, IVY will reimburse the costs associated with obtaining the required visa, and provide invitation letters and proof of financial means. However, the responsibility for identifying the correct visa, preparing the application, and completing the necessary formalities remains with the volunteer.
