IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "HEROES" Support affordable housing in Europe. VOLUNTEER Community Land Trust Bruxelles is looking for an IVY volunteer! The volunteer will support the Interreg project “HEROES - Affordable Housing Enhancement and Regional Oversight for European Sustainability" , under the Programme "Interreg Europe". The objective of the Interreg project "HEROES" is to improve the implementation of urban and regional policies related to affordable housing. By promoting the exchange of experiences and capacity building, HEROES helps regional authorities design and implement more effective strategies to address the housing crisis, focusing on creating affordable and inclusive housing for middle-income families by fostering collaborative services and mutualistic practices at neighbourhood level. The volunteer will be carrying out tasks and activities: supporting the team with communication tasks (create content for websites and social media for a professional audience as well as for the general public); supporting the team with advocacy work: drafting documents, setting up meetings, preparing conferences; supporting the team with collecting information and data from the project partners and help with drafting the case studies; support the team with the organisation of peer-to-peer meetings. Other information: Financial support of: 39.12 euros per day (week-end and holidays included) . Location: Brussels, Belgium. Start and duration: As soon as possible, for 6 months. Languages: Possibly French (C2), German (C2), Dutch (C1), English (B1). Language requirements: Knowledge of at least two, preferably three, of the languages listed above is required. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 21.48 EUR to 92.96 EUR per day. Insurance IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience, if needed. Contribution to travel costs Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km. Visa Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, residence permit, or any other authorization required to legally enter, reside, and carry out their volunteering activity in the hosting country. Once selected, volunteers are expected to complete all necessary administrative procedures, and submit the required documentation to the relevant authorities. For eligible volunteers relocating between countries participating in the IVY initiative, IVY will reimburse the costs associated with obtaining the required visa, and provide invitation letters and proof of financial means. However, the responsibility for identifying the correct visa, preparing the application, and completing the necessary formalities remains with the volunteer.
