Java Azure Developer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Java Azure Developer to join a dynamic engineering team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, along with solid experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful microservices using modern architecture and design patterns.
• Build cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available solutions following enterprise development standards.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, deployment, and production issues.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply best practices around performance, security, scalability, observability, and maintainability.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot
• Strong experience in Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
• Banking / Financial Services domain experience is mandatory
