Java SE | Core Banking Project | Kanazawa | JLPT N2+

SOTATEK JAPAN is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a Core Banking project based in Kanazawa. You will work on backend development for a banking system, collaborating with Japanese and Vietnamese team members.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Java-based backend systems for a core banking project.

Work with Spring/Spring Boot, SQL Server/Oracle, and related enterprise frameworks.

Collaborate with BrSE, QA and Japanese client-side engineers on requirement analysis, design and testing.

Participate in code review, unit testing and troubleshooting production issues.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Java (Spring/Spring Boot).

Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

JLPT N2 or higher (able to communicate directly with Japanese stakeholders).

Banking/finance domain experience is a plus.

Willing to work onsite in Kanazawa, Japan.
