Jet Engine Mechanic (CF6-80)

GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a Jet Engine MRO located at Helsinki Airport, Finland. We are looking for an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic to join our hospital shop visit team (SPAH), which focuses on surgical quick-turn engine repairs both onsite and offsite. We are looking for a person who enjoys hands-on engine work and takes pride in delivering high-quality service our customers. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with CF6-80 engines , is confident working independently, and is able to support and provide OJT to other mechanics when needed. We offer a full-time permanent position and comprehensive relocation support for candidates moving to Finland from abroad. Your main responsibilities CF6-80C2 and CFM56-5B/7B Special Procedure Workscopes Pre/Post Lease and Purchase inspections On wing inspections & repairs Special Procedure repairs Module replacements Engine Test Run & Preservation MPD Tasks renewal In addition, you will participate in inspections, cleaning, material planning and material handling. As hospital shop visits are often ad hoc by nature, this role requires flexibility, adaptability and the ability to manage several tasks at the same time.
