Department Overview Melbourne Design Centre is part of Motorola Solutions' Software Enterprise organisation with a focus on streamlining processes and increasing operational efficiency with a highly configurable and integrated mobility solution designed for responders in the field. Job Description The Cloud Production Engineer is responsible for collaborating with peers and software engineering teams to design, implement and maintain infrastructure solutions under the guidance and mentorship of senior engineers. As part of this role, you will be exposed to the following areas of operations: Designing & implementing high resiliency and availability architectures Maintaining and improving platforms availability (SRE) Managing on-premise deployments Automated build pipeline development and management Cybersecurity principles and applications The successful candidate will be required to have excellent problem solving skills with a can-do mindset and be able to work collaboratively in an agile environment. Basic Requirements KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Citizenship or PR required Experience of Windows and Linux operating systems Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure & Google Cloud Ability to script in languages such as BASH, PowerShell, Gradle Working knowledge of Git and associated tools, platforms and practices Experience and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and software development lifecycle Experience with configuration management Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) Experience with observability platforms and APM solutions such as ELK Stack, Prometheus and AppDynamics Experience with containerisation (eg.
